DAVIS LAND SURVEYING LLC opened in March of 2016, in Abbeville Alabama by Jimmy Davis Jr. We located on U.S. Highway #431 North, approx. ¼ mile north of Hardees. We offer our services to the Wiregrass area, depending on the project Davis Land Surveying has the capabilities to handle surveys anywhere in the state. We strive to offer Quality Surveying Services in a timely manner to satisfy the needs of the client.
I was born & raised here in the Wiregrass area & after high school I joined the military & served three years in the Army, finishing my time in the National Guard. I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2005, I started surveying & worked my way to a party chief, with ambitions of owning my own survey firm. I worked full time for Enterprise Surveying while attending Enterprise State Community College. Then in the Spring of 2009, I received a B.S. in Geomatics from Troy University, while also rising to the position of Project Manager with Enterprise Surveying.
For a year, I worked with Sain Engineering Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama on ALDOT, TDOT, & large-scale engineering projects as a project manager. However, after this time my family & I realized that we were meant to be back in the Wiregrass. So, I moved home & opened Davis Land Surveying LLC.
